Exposition/Beginning: Akiak is a lead dog and Mick is the musher they are in a race it's from Anchorage to Nome.
Problem: Akiak hurts her paw and can no longer run in the race.
Rising/Action: the weather worsens into a blizzard.
Climax: Akiak is tired and hungry. She is keeping away from the volunteers while she is trying to find her team.
Falling/Action: Akiak slowly but surely is able to catch up to her team.
