200 years ago was a time known as the 1800. It was the beginning of the middle class but many people were poor at that time. Woman used to wear tight dresses while men wore fancy suits. Their hair was hidden underneath caps or any other covering. There was no fast food during that time and food came in small portions, opposite of what we have today. Also it was the time of the great change in technology. Although technology in our time is stronger than theirs, their time was the beginning of technology. Many things were built to produce mass production (a lot of things in a short time), things like clothing and they were made in factories. But sadly, those changes were very bad for the people. For example, many people lost their jobs because they were replaced by machines. And the people who had work there were children less than 16 years old. Those changes were also bad for the cities because the cities where many people lived was polluted because of the factories. But without this era, many changes that help us now would not even been invented yet and we would live with being tired and less educated today.
